Wrestling, one of the world’s oldest competitive sports, offers a pathway to fitness, self-confidence, and connections. Sydney Silverbacks Wrestling Club, also known as Harbour City Wrestling Club, is an LGBTQI and straight-friendly community sporting club in Sydney. Since 1993, the club has focused on Freestyle wrestling, incorporating elements from Greco-Roman wrestling.
They offer weekly training nights, beginner workshops, intra-club tournaments, and participation in national and international competitions, including the Gay Games. Regardless of age or gender, everyone is welcome to join the fun at their Friday night training sessions from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. Spectators are also invited to witness the exciting wrestling action.
